We collect personal information that You voluntarily provideto Us when You register on the Services, express an interest in obtaininginformation about Us or Our products and Services, when You participate inactivities on the Services, or otherwise when You contact Us.

We do not Process sensitive information or personallyidentifiable information.

We automatically collect certain information when You visit,use, or navigate the Services, such as telemetry data. This information doesnot reveal Your specific identity (like Your name or contact information) butmay include device and usage information, such as Your IP address, browser anddevice characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs,device name, country, location, information about how and when You use OurServices, and other technical information. This information is primarily neededto maintain the security and operation of Our Services, and for Our internalanalytics and reporting purposes.

The information We collect includes:

1. Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic,usage, and performance information Our servers automatically collect when Youaccess or use Our Services and which We record in log files. Depending on how Youinteract with Us, this log data may include Your IP address, device information,browser type, and settings and information about Your activity in the Services(such as the date/time stamps associated with Your usage, pages and filesviewed, searches, and other actions You take such as which features You use),device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimescalled "crash dumps"), and hardware settings).
2. Device Data. We collect device data such as informationabout Your computer, phone, tablet, or other device You use to access theServices. Depending on the device used, this device data may includeinformation such as Your IP address (or proxy server), device and applicationidentification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internetservice provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and systemconfiguration information.Telemetry Data. For internal metrics and productoptimizations, Kubeshop collects the following anonymized and untraceable datawhich is used only in aggregate form: the number of CLI installations; thenumber of unique CLI usages in a day; the number of installations to a cluster;the number of unique active cluster installations; the number of people whodisable telemetry; the number of unique sessions in the UI; and, the number ofAPI, Static Route, and EnvoyFleet creations. A user may opt-out of suchtelemetry data collection if they prefer not to share any information bycontacting Kubeshop at the email address provided.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We Process Your personal information for a variety ofreasons, depending on how You interact with Our Services, including:

1. To facilitate account creation and authentication andotherwise manage user accounts. We may Process Your information so You cancreate and login to Your account, as well as keep Your account in workingorder.
2. To protect Our Services. We may Process Your information aspart of Our efforts to keep Our Services safe and secure, including fraudmonitoring and prevention.
3. To identify usage trends. We may Process information abouthow You use Our Services to better understand how they are being used so We canimprove them.

3. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems andmobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or settingYou can activate to signal Your privacy preference not to have data about Youronline browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniformtechnology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has beenfinalized. As such, We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or anyother mechanism that automatically communicates Your choice not to be trackedonline. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that We must follow in thefuture, We will inform You about that practice in a revised version of this Policy.

4. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the"Shine The Light" law, permits Our users who are California residentsto request and obtain from Us, once a year and free of charge, informationabout categories of personal information (if any) We disclosed to third partiesfor direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third partieswith which We shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendaryear. If You are a California resident and would like to make such a request,please submit Your request in writing to Us using the contact informationprovided below.

If You are under 18 years of age, reside in California, andhave a registered account with Services, You have the right to request removalof unwanted data that You publicly post on the Services. To request removal ofsuch data, please contact Us using the contact information provided below andinclude the email address associated with Your account and a statement that Youreside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed onthe Services, but please be aware that the data may not be completely orcomprehensively removed from all Our systems (e.g., backups, compliance withlegal obligations, etc.).

Verification process

Upon receiving Your request, We will need to verify Your identity to determine You are the same person about whom We have the information in Our system. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.

We will only use personal information provided in Your request to verify Your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, We will avoid requesting additional information from You for the purposes of verification. However, if We cannot verify Your identity from the information already maintained by Us, We may request that You provide additional information for the purposes of verifying Your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as We finish verifying You.

You may request correction of Your personal data if it is incorrect or no longer relevant, or ask to restrict the Processing of the information.

You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on Your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on Your behalf in accordance with the CCPA.

You may request to opt out from future selling of Your personal information to third parties. Upon receiving an opt-out request, We will act upon the request as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of the request submission.
